Made her début when she was 15 at the opera theaters in Barcelona. In 1901 she sang in Buenos Aires (La Sonnambula). She sang for the first time at London´s Covent Garden in 1903 and at Milan´s La Scala in 1904, thus beginning a brilliant international career that would make her a first magnitude lyric diva. She performed at the leading theaters in Europe and America and, as from 1916 she sang for several seasons at New York´s Metropolitan, along with the leading voices of the time (E.Carusso, H.Lázaro, T.Ruffo). On account of her vocal characteristics, she specialized in coloratura parts (Barbiere, La Sonnambula, Rigoletto, La Traviata, Fra Diavolo). At a later date, she was an important lieder-singer, especially in the repertoire of her contemporaries Granados and Falla. Having retired from the stage, she taught at the Teatro Colón Conservatoire in Buenos Aires.

The great soprano "coloratura" who reached international fame and was acclaimed as a "Diva" in Met, Colon, Scala, Liceu, Real, ... in a double CD covering the most extensive selection never issued.
