Florencio Constantino, tenor (Ortuella 1868- Mexico City, 1919) At very young age he went to South America. He made his debut in 1896 in Montevideo, as Lázaro in Tomás Breton's La Dolores. His first performance at Madrid's Teatro Real on 14th November 1899 with Rigoletto was a great hit. His fame led him to sing at the Covent Garden in 1905, where he made his debut with La Traviata and at the Metropolitan Opera House in 1910 with Rigoletto in which, as Duca di Mantova, he was the rival of famous tenor Enrico Caruso. He sang several seasons at Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires and in the United States.

Ramón Blanchart, baritone (Barcelona 1860-San Salvador 1934) He made his debut as Valentin in Faust at Barcelona's Liceu, where he sang many roles including the Wagnerians Flying Dutchman, Kurwenal, Wolfram and Telramund. He performed in the best Italian theatres, especially as Hamlet, one of his favourite roles. In 1883 he made his debut at Madrid's Teatro Real as Nevers in Gli Ugonotti. He was the singer who performed most times in this theatre: 327 performances. He was member of San Carlo Opera Company as Florencio Constantino and toured many American cities.
